Job summary

Firefighters Community Credit Union is hiring a Financial Service Representative at our Emerald Branch in Cleveland, OH. This full-time role blends teller duties with platform sales to support members’ financial needs.

You will deliver exceptional service, open new accounts, process transactions, and explain products such as IRAs and certificates while upholding FFCCU’s community-focused ethos and commitment to helping people.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cash handling, customer service and sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to explain financial products clearly to members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional in-branch customer experience by handling member needs from sales to service.


• Perform teller transactions, open new accounts, take loan applications, complete loan closings, and everything in-between.


• Recommend appropriate financial products and services to members


• Provide expertise on a variety of complex credit union services such as IRAs, share certificates, electronic funds transfer, online banking, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have 2+ years' experience in:

• Cash handling


• Customer service


• Sales and cross-selling experience


• Minimum of high school diploma or GED

Other

• Physical requirements include moving frequently and regularly using wrists, hands, and or fingers; speaking clearly, hearing and understanding; visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents; should be able to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
