Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting for a fast-paced agency environment.

You will prepare financial statements, ensure general ledger integrity, analyze financial results, and assist with audits and internal controls, while partnering with Finance, Operations, and client teams to deliver accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting experience.
• U.S. GAAP knowledge and adherence to policies.
• Strong understanding of general ledger and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare journal entries and posting such as accruals and amortization.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and operating results by client/project.
• Assist with audits, tax support, and year-end schedules.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Identify process improvements for reporting and controls.
