Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the preparation and completion of external financial reporting activities while ensuring compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable regulatory requirements. The role plays a key part in ensuring financial reports and disclosures are accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide insights related to financial performance, accounting matters, and compliance.

Essential Functions

• Supports the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.


• Provides support for various technical accounting matters, including pension, equity compensation, goodwill and other intangible assets, ASC 842 lease accounting, and revenue recognition under ASC 606.


• Assists with the preparation and review of disclosures included in Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as earnings press releases filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.


• Assists in updating and maintaining the company’s accounting policies to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable accounting standards. Supports additional technical accounting research and analysis as needed.


• Assists with analyzing and researching new and proposed accounting, financial reporting, and disclosure standards issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and assists in preparing technical accounting memorandums documenting the Company’s position and the potential impact on the business.


• Supports the external audit process by responding to audit requests and providing requested documentation and information.


• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
