Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an FP&A Manager in Timonium, MD, to partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting improvements. The role focuses on portfolios, operating partners, and investment decisions within a growing organization.

The candidate will build and refine financial models, analyze performance, and provide actionable insights to senior leaders while maintaining rigorous financial controls and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, transaction support, or similar corporate finance function.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and operating results.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze property and portfolio-level financial results to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance of operating partners and support relationship management.
  • Review financial statements, market data, industry trends, reimbursement activity, and regulatory developments impacting portfolio performance.
  • Prepare financial analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Calculate and monitor financial covenants and identify potential compliance concerns.
  • Review capital improvement projects, including budgets, expenditures, and impact on property performance.
  • Track key requirements, reporting obligations, amendments, and important dates tied to lease and financing agreements.
  • Assist with evaluating potential acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and portfolio transactions.
  • Perform financial and credit analysis on prospective and existing operating partners.
  • Develop financial models, charts, written summaries, and internal materials supporting investment decisions.
  • Monitor expected revenue, cash receipts, contractual adjustments, and other portfolio-related financial activity.
  • Maintain financial forecasts and revenue schedules based on changes to agreements, financing arrangements, and capital projects.
  • Support senior team members with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Participate in property visits as needed.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to external relationship management.
