WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team at Pretium Packaging, a leading manufacturer of innovative plastic packaging solutions. The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as providing analytical insights to drive business decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Assist in developing and maintaining the company's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
• Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize projects and develop business cases to support capital expenditure decisions.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making, including supply chain optimization, pricing strategies, and product development.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, sales, and marketing teams.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews and other key meetings to discuss financial performance and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial reporting and analytics.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A or a related field
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.) and experience with financial planning software (e.g. Anaplan)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts (e.g. GAAP, cash flow management)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in finance or related field
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry or plastics sector.
• Certification in FP&A (e.g. CFA, CMA) or related field
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) or other business intelligence software.
