$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Job Purpose

The Financial Planning Analyst will conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making processes for several of the company programs. The role involves analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and preparing reports for management to enhance business performance and strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the head of the FP&A to effectively manage the programs P&L. This includes analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into business performance.
• Conduct variance analysis, research on variances and summarize differences between actual and budgeted figures.
• Interacts with Program Manager, VP of Operations on revenue and cost drivers
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Gain understanding of each program’s revenue, cost and capital spend vs. budget
• Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting activities.
• Use financial modeling to predict future revenue and expenses and assess financial outcomes.
• Support the Head of FP&A on all the weekly/monthly/quarterly requirements
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support various business units and projects.
• Present financial analysis to CFO, insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and provide financial expertise.
• Work directly with individual program team to understand the variances.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Excel based reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis and planning

Skills:

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
