Job summary

HireVue Inc. is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a fast-growing SaaS finance team. You will own key performance metrics, build driver-based models, and partner with leaders to improve forecasts and reporting.

In this remote role, you will work closely with the VP of FP&A and CFO, driving monthly and quarterly performance, headcount analytics, and dash- board clarity for executives and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-3 years of FP&A or accounting experience (SaaS preferred).
• Strong understanding of the expense side of P&L and other financial statements.
• Advanced Excel and modeling; comfortable building and improving multi-tab, driver-based models.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Monthly & Quarterly Business Performance.
• Lead expense-side variance analysis for assigned departments.
• Partner with Accounting and departmental leaders to deliver a precise close.
• Build and enhance expense forecasts to illuminate the drivers behind the numbers.
• Own headcount actuals and forecasting for specific teams.
• Collaborate with HR to manage hiring plans and workforce costs.
• Maintain weekly headcount reconciliation for accuracy.
• Update dashboards tracking key SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
• Provide insights influencing executive discussions and strategic decisions.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting decks for the C-Suite and Board.

• Drive Monthly & Quarterly Business Performance

Be the Owner of Headcount Analytics

• Own headcount actuals and forecasting for specific teams.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to manage hiring plans and workforce costs.
• Maintain weekly headcount reconciliation to ensure absolute accuracy.

Elevate SaaS Reporting & Visibility

• Update and maintain dashboards that track our most critical SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
• Provide insights that influence executive discussions and strategic decisions.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting decks for the C-Suite and Board of Directors.

Improve Our Processes, Tools & Systems

• Support enhancements to our FP&A tech stack, including planning tools like Adaptive Insights.
• Automate workflows, streamline reporting, and always look for ways to make our processes run smoother.
• Lead and support special projects, ensuring high-quality execution from start to finish.

Qualifications

You're driven, curious, and excited to learn how a SaaS business really works. You love diving into details but know how to elevate insights for executives. You don't wait for instruction—you seek out the next question, the next improvement, the next answer.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA a plus).
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Accounting (SaaS experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of the expense side of the P&L and other financial statements.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills; comfortable building and improving multi-tab, driver-based models.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A tools is a plus.
