Job summary

Thompson Gray is seeking a Junior Financial Management Specialist to support the ASD(HA) and the MHS in San Antonio. The role requires handling debt relief processes, ensuring documentation is complete, and coordinating with DoD entities to determine patient debt terms.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and possess a Business or Accounting degree with strong communication and MS Office skills. On-site work in the San Antonio area is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen able to obtain Secret-level clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting.
• Strong communication and collaborative work ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with MHS Modified Payment and Waiver Program for non-DoD beneficiaries.
• Review and process debt relief requests with required documentation within deadlines.
• Determine patient eligibility for debt relief or waiver using pre-set formulas.
• Coordinate with MHS billing offices and insurers to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the U.S. Treasury to determine debt status and terms.
• Maintain detailed records of all patient interactions and accounts.
