Job summary

Thompson Gray Inc is seeking a Junior Financial Management Specialist to support the ASD(HA) in San Antonio. The role is full-time, onsite, with a Secret clearance requirement and responsibilities spanning debt relief processing, coordination with Treasury, and collaboration with billing teams.

The candidate will handle documentation, ensure timely processing, and maintain detailed case records while working with DoD stakeholders and health affairs leadership.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen able to obtain a Secret-level clearance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, stakeholder management, and time management.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting required at application.

Responsibilities

• Assist DoD beneficiaries with the MHS Modified Payment and Waiver Program.
• Review and process debt relief requests with supporting documents within strict timelines.
• Apply predefined formulas to determine debt relief eligibility.
• Collaborate with MHS billing offices and insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the U.S. Treasury Department on debt status and terms.
• Maintain detailed records of all patient interactions and account statuses.
