Apex Systems is actively seeking a Senior Financial Management Analyst to support the DoD budget execution at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. The role focuses on implementing a new funding process, conducting high‑level planning, and coordinating with AF and US Cyber Command to allocate funds effectively.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in DoD financial management, strong data analysis skills, and PPBE experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• 7+ years of DoD financial management experience.
• DoD FM Certificate Levels III OR CDFM.
• Strong PPBE understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and perform budget analysis, execution, civilian pay management, and travel oversight.
• Develop annual execution and spend plans; monitor obligations and expenditures.
• Produce financial reports and cost analysis for higher headquarters.
• Collaborate with program managers and senior leaders to allocate funds.
• Create and maintain accounting structures across systems; run reconciliations.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial closeout activities.
