Job summary

val's services is seeking a Manager in Financial Due Diligence within our Deal Advisory practice to lead buy-side and sell-side engagements. You will oversee financial due diligence for large and mid‑market clients and coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external providers.

You will analyze target data to identify earnings quality, liabilities and risks affecting valuation and negotiations, and develop tailored transaction reports for earnings normalization and debt considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in accounting, advisory, or transaction services.
• CPA-eligible; CPA preferred.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence for Fortune 1000 and PE clients.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and third-party providers.
• Analyze data to identify earnings trends, liabilities, and valuation risks.

Manager in Financial Due Diligence within the Deal Advisory practice, focusing on transaction advisory for buy-side and sell-side engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and business due diligence for Fortune 1000 and middle market companies, as well as private equity investors.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout transactions.
• Analyze target company data to identify financial trends, earnings quality, liabilities, and risks impacting valuation and negotiations.
• Develop tailored transaction reports addressing key issues such as earnings normalization, valuation assumptions, and debt considerations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of five years relevant experience, including at least four in accounting, advisory, audit, or transaction services with a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA-eligible; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive project management experience, including leading teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC financial reporting, IFRS, M&A, or transaction services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
