Job summary

The Car Park is seeking an accounting-minded professional to join our Boise team as a Finance Analyst. You will assist in monthly P&L, variance analyses, and leadership reports, while tracking financial metrics across departments.

With 1–2 years in finance or accounting, you will leverage strong Excel skills and GAAP understanding to support budgeting, forecasting, and data integrity. Join our fast-growing company and contribute to accurate financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analytical role (internships included).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts; experience with financial modeling preferred.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, including GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of monthly P&L statements, variance analysis, and management reports.
  • Track key financial metrics and explain variances to budget and forecast.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial packages for internal leadership review.
  • Support annual budgeting processes and quarterly reforecasts by gathering and consolidating financial data from multiple departments.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, dashboards, and models used in tracking expenses, revenues, and operational KPIs.
  • Assist in ensuring financial transactions and records comply with internal policies and procedures.
  • Help identify discrepancies in financial data, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Work with accounting, operations, and departmental leaders to ensure financial alignment across functions.
  • Participate in internal training and mentorship opportunities to expand knowledge and technical skills.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
