Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Financial Analyst to deliver timely and meaningful financial analysis and reporting for internal customers. The role requires independence on projects, strong Excel and BI tooling, and a focus on accuracy to support senior management decisions.

Responsibilities include updating executive dashboards, month-end close tasks, Adaptive Insights data input, and cross-functional collaboration with purchasing and PM teams. Office-based in Los Angeles with normal business hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of FP&A experience.
  • Proficient or expert in Excel; experience with ERP/BI tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and math skills; capable of handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

  • Update monthly operations review report for executive leadership and PE owners.
  • Provide daily plant inventory and overtime analysis to leadership.
  • Prepare key month-end reports and journal entries.
  • Enter KPI data into Adaptive Insights (CAPEX, labor hours, units, etc.).
  • Distribute department expenses to managers and track costs.
  • Support annual operating plan reporting in Adaptive Insights.
  • Assist with semi-annual and annual state reporting documentation.
  • Support Purchasing and Accounts Payable to ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Coordinate with capital project managers on spend tracking.
  • Follow quality system procedures.

The position is responsible for providing timely, meaningful and relevant financial analysis, information and reporting to various internal customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Depth & breadth of analysis along with independence in handling new projects or tasks
  • A sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to provide insight and advice supporting effective decision making and execution
  • Strong attention to detail – ability to reconcile/tie-out numbers from multiple sources
  • Focused materials and delivery when presenting information to senior management
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

Other duties may be assigned including the following:

  • Participate in update of the monthly operations review report to executive leadership and private equity owners
  • Provide daily update of plant inventory reporting and overtime analysis to leadership team.
  • Prepare critical Month-end reports and journal entries.
  • Coordination and input of various financial/non-financial/KPI data into Adaptive Insights such as blood lead levels, CAPEX, labor hours, units, etc.
  • Preparation and distribution of department expenses to dept managers
  • Assist in calculating and updating primary reporting and supporting schedules for annual operating plan into Adaptive Insights.
  • Assist in preparing semi-annual and annual reporting documentation to state agencies.
  • Provide as-needed support to Purchasing Department and Accounts Payable Department to ensure critical vendor payments are made on a timely basis.
  • Interact with capital project managers to track capital projects spend.
  • Follows quality system procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and persistence in following up with multiple members of the organization to gather information and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel required. Plex ERP, Workday, Power BI, Adaptive Insights / Office Connect experience a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor of Arts degree Preferred
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Must be proficient or expert in Excel
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Good written and verbal skills in English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
  • Excellent math, statistics and analytical skills
REASONING ABILITY:
  • Excellent problem-solving capability
