Job summary

UW Health in Rockford, IL is seeking a Financial Counselor to provide patients with estimated costs for upcoming services and to assist with the billing prepayment process.

The role requires a High School diploma (Associate's degree preferred) and 1 year of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle, with 2 years preferred. This is a hybrid position with one onsite day per week at 2550 Charles Street, Rockford, IL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in Health Care Revenue Cycle required.
• 2 years experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle preferred.

Work Schedule:
This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Eight hours shifts, between the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, will be scheduled Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position with one day per week required onsite at 2550 Charles Street, Rockford, IL.
