Job summary

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital in Utah is seeking a Financial Counselor to join a patient-centered team. The role focuses on verifying insurance, explaining coverage, and guiding patients through financial responsibilities within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in finance or as a Financial Counselor required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required; must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Verify primary and secondary insurance coverage.
• Notifies all relevant parties and explains insurance benefits.
• Meet with patients to review insurance and patient responsibility.
• Manage patient accounts until fully paid.
• Other business office administrative duties; as assigned

Qualifications

Your Qualifications and Requirements will include:

• Experience working as a Financial Counselor or in finance for 0-1 years required; 1-3 years preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; AS Finance/Accounting preferred
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen and must be 21 years of age or older
