Vivid Impact in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Financial Controller to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and strengthen the control environment across the organization.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close, manage core accounting operations, lead budgeting and forecasting, and develop the accounting team. If you have GAAP expertise, manufacturing experience, and a proven ability to drive improvements, join a 300+ person team delivering results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with leadership.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with high accountability in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communicator with non-financial stakeholders.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Close: oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close; ensure GAAP-compliant statements.
• Accounting Operations & Controls: manage GL, AP, AR, fixed assets; strengthen internal controls.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: support budget/forecast; analyze variances; provide insights.
• Leadership & Team Development: lead accounting team through coaching and performance management.
