LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Kentucky. The role covers general ledger maintenance, month-end close, financial reporting, and tax compliance, with collaboration across operations and leadership.

Candidates should have strong analytical skills and GAAP knowledge, ideally with manufacturing background. The position is direct hire with a salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close responsibilities.
• Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely results.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Oversee sales and use tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets.
