You will lead the accounting team, manage budgeting and forecasting, oversee audits, and provide strategic financial guidance to leadership in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
  • Monitor company financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
  • Oversee job costing, contract accounting, and project financial reporting including monthly cost to complete meetings.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations of our growing organization. The Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Duties

  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
