We are looking for a Controller to lead our accounting operations, strengthen financial infrastructure, and provide the insights needed to drive smart, strategic decision-making.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, partnering closely with executive leadership while owning the day-to-day accounting function. The Controller will play a critical role in improving financial visibility, optimizing processes, and building a scalable finance function to support continued growth.

What You’ll Do

Financial Leadership & Oversight

• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR, AP, payroll, and cash management
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in compliance with GAAP
• Establish and maintain internal controls and financial policies
• Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Deliver weekly cash flow reporting and actionable insights
• Optimize working capital, including AR collections and credit management
• Establish and enforce client credit policies and limits

Financial Reporting & Close Process

• Own and improve month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review accurate, timely financial statements
• Deliver financial analysis, including profitability and margin insights
• Develop project cost reporting for Operations
• Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and tax requirements
• Improve close timelines and implement interim (flash) reporting

Process Improvement & Systems Optimization

• Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable accounting processes
• Lead ERP optimization and support system enhancements (SAP B1 experience a plus)
• Improve job costing, reporting capabilities, and financial visibility
• Develop and implement SOPs and workflows for the Finance team
• Oversee budgeting processes and financial planning support

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Build a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative team culture
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Treasury, and Leadership teams
• Support strategic initiatives, forecasting, and long-term planning

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

• 10–15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred)
• Experience in a growth-oriented or private equity-backed environment
• Background in process improvement and financial transformation
