Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Our client is a retail company seeking a Financial Controller to remotely join their San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the global financial accounting team and ensure accurate accounting operations
• Develop, document, implement, and maintain internal controls over the Finance Function
• Establish and ensure adherence to all accounting policies as established by the corporation
• Understand the environment and the unique accounting controls and policies required
• Continuously learn and deploy technological tools to improve efficiency
• Lead the team, fostering collaboration and teamwork within the finance department
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Enforce internal control compliance within Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Reporting processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of financial control experience
• Experience with public companies or IPO readiness
• Background in consumer products/retail industry
• Experience in public or private accounting
• Ability to establish financial controls
• CPA strongly preferred
• Proficiency in NetSuite required
