We are seeking a highly experienced Controller to lead and scale the accounting function within a fast-growing technology company. Accountabilities:

• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and treasury
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP-compliant reporting
• Manage external audits, including preparing for and completing the company's first audit
• Design and implement scalable systems and tools to support a rapidly growing organization
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders to align actual performance with forecasts and strategy
• Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Champion best practices for financial integrity, operational efficiency, and internal controls
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification required
• 10-15 years of experience across Big 4 public accounting and industry roles, with startup or tech experience preferred
• Strong command of GAAP and experience with building accounting functions at scale
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial tech stacks; Stripe and Salesforce experience is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data for executive stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead audits, shape policy, and implement high-quality internal controls
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and driving continuous improvement initiatives
