Job summary

Legislative Audit Division (LAD) internships offer hands-on financial and compliance audit experience in Helena, Montana. As a Financial Compliance Audit Intern, you will engage in interviewing personnel, testing controls, and using analytics to evaluate transaction cycles while learning how state agencies operate.

The position pays $25.00 per hour with telework eligibility up to half-time and flexible hours between 6 am and 6 pm.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree.
• Has obtained, or is enrolled to obtain by year's end, 6 upper-division accounting hours.
• Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Has sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Has the ability to work well independently and within a team setting.
• Has good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
