Job summary

Catholic Charities of Steuben/Livingston is seeking a Financial Case Manager to support residents at our Bath, NY residence. The role focuses on helping clients establish and maintain eligibility for financial assistance and coordinating with public assistance agencies.

This full-time position requires experience in human services, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage billing and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associates preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of prior experience in substance abuse or related human service field preferred.
• Valid NY State Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to use Windows, Microsoft Office and multiple online software platforms as required by funders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in establishing funding and act as a liaison with Public Assistance representatives and the agency.
• Function as liaison between CCSL Residential Services and DSS.
• Ensure recertification paperwork is completed and submitted timely to DSS.
• Complete monthly billing reports indicating payments received and those in arrears.
• Advocate for and teach clients basic living skills related to banking, budgets, and benefits programs.
