Our client, a prestigious higher-ed institute, is looking for a Financial Assistant 2 to join their team and help keep the financial operations of several programs running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, solving problems, and being a go-to resource for others. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of financial activities, including invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, expense reports, PCard transactions, account reconciliations, vendor onboarding, and financial reporting. You’ll also research and resolve discrepancies, respond to financial questions, maintain accurate records, and support year-end closeout. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of financial or administrative experience, strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while working independently. Experience in a higher education or research environment, as well as familiarity with SAP, Concur, or similar financial systems, is a plus.
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Pay: $27.50–$34.20/hour
