Director of Recruiting | Partner to Administrative, HR, Accounting & Finance Professionals
Do you have 5+ years of financial accounting experience, higher education and/or non-profit industry experience? We’ve partnered with a university in the Cambridge, MA area looking to bring on a Financial & Program Administrator on a 3-6-month temporary basis with the possibility of an extension.
Job Length: 3-6-months temporary with a potential extension to follow.
Compensation: $39-41/hr.
Days/Hours: This position is hybrid with a schedule of 2-days on-site, 3-days remote. (Must be able to work on-site on Tuesdays)
Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm-40/hrs./wk.
Responsibilities:
- Supports program forecasting efforts and tracks actuals in collaboration and vendors, ensuring accurate projections and alignment with overall financial goals.
- Creates and/or reviews for accuracy all course and program revenue reports for open enrollment, B2B, and Corporate Programs.
- Submit invoices, vendor payment requests, faculty payment requests, reimbursements, and program expenses to the finance department for processing.
- Assists with the monitoring and reconciling of accounts in SAP and collaborates with finance to ensure proper course account reconciliation is completed.
- May support the planning and coordination of in-person and hybrid program events, including in-classroom sources, meetings, receptions, dinners, and certificate ceremonies. Coordinates with vendors on international in-person events when needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in higher education, is required.
- Strong Excel experience- Pivot Table, navigating around data sheets (understanding/communicating data to upper management and making sure it’s accurate). Processing formulas, student payments, and reconciliation.
- Operational skills- assisting with events (registration desk support, event setup/breakdown. Open to a front facing role).
- Strong documentation skills- making sure all financial tasks have been properly imported into their system.
