Job summary

The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates for the Utility Operations & Cost-Rate Analyst I/II (Accounting) role. You will work with Oracle EBS, maintain financial records, and prepare comprehensive financial and narrative reports.

The position advances from Analyst I to II after training and meeting qualifications. The I/II level offers competitive hourly pay, with open competitive eligibility and a potential future upgrade upon certification and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Two years of accounting/finance experience for Analyst II.
• Experience with GASB, GAAP and NRS guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and interpret financial records in accordance with GASB/GAAP/NRS.
• Prepare accurate financial, statistical and narrative reports.
• Prepare deposits and accounting reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
