UPMC in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to conduct complex financial analyses, develop forecasting reports, and mentor junior staff. The role offers a hybrid in-office and remote schedule, with base work at Forbes Tower and occasional meetings at U.S.

Steel Tower, UPMC Mercy, and UPMC Magee. Ideal candidates will lead analytical projects, provide guidance, and contribute to cost improvements while supporting strategic business decisions.

Qualificações

• Experience with complex financial analysis and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to forecast, trend, and analyze results.

Responsabilidades

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Perform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported.
• Act as a mentor for Financial Analysts or administrative staff.
• Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
• Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
• Plan and conduct complex studies to determine cost of business activities. Recommend budget adjustments, and other cost improvement measures.

The Financial Analyst, Senior will conduct and document complex financial analysis projects and provide functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts. This position offers a hybrid in-office and work from home schedule Monday-Friday and is based at Forbes Tower in Pittsburgh, PA, with occasional meetings at the U.S. Steel Tower, UPMC Mercy, and UPMC Magee.
