Responsibilities

• Process report requests as needed by Manager and Directors.
• Perform complex project and data analysis as needed by Management.
• Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives within the department as well as implementing process improvement initiatives based on management decisions.
• Assist Management in defining and documenting tasks and duties within department.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including project documentation and tracking and reporting procedures.
• Develops cross-functional change management and implementation strategies with committed participating parties.
• Provide concise and timely status reporting as required.
• Develops and implements key metrics to measure progress of initiatives.
• Assist team members in resolving project problems and escalate issues when necessary.
• Identify trends and process improvement opportunities across departments within operations.
• Monitor health plan operating performance against regional and national benchmarks.
• Perform cost/benefit analysis.
• Assure quality of information through testing and validation against business needs.
• Assist with achieving strategic goals.
• Work with managers to achieve efficiencies across integration of projects.
• Manage day-to-day administrative activities and develop specialized processes.
• Train and coordinate daily activities of Project Analysts.

Job description

The Senior Project Analyst is responsible for complex analysis of information for product and program-based initiatives. The Senior Project Analyst is responsible for overseeing multiple projects at any given time. Must use knowledge and understanding of processes, systems and departments to recommend and implement project plans. This position also is responsible for reporting results to Management as needed.

This is a full time position working Monday through Friday daylight hours. This is a hybrid position consisting of working from home and in office 3 days per week which is located in the US Steel Tower downtown Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities:
