Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to $115K + $22K bonus

Please note: This team is working a hybrid schedule. They are onsite Tuesdays through Thursdays and working remotely Mondays and Fridays.

Prestigious top ranked billion dollar institution has a unique opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its expanding team. There are multiple openings on this team open due to internal promotions! This company is also well known for their exceptional bonus, work life balance, and benefits compensation plan. Reporting to the Manager, this position will have significant interaction with Directors and other senior level Executives on the team and be a true business partner to the team that they support. The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will help drive the monthly forecast process, annual budget, and annual strategic plan. This individual will maintain an overall financial perspective of the company and will perform additional project-based analyses as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing the consolidated Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including the P&L, capital plan, balance sheet, and cash flow by partnering effectively with the finance leads and business heads responsible for each critical functional area of the company
• Develops monthly financial forecasts including the P&L, capital spending, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Conducts and consolidates insightful variance analyses to fully understand the drivers of business performance and to identify potential issues and opportunities. Effectively communicate this information to senior management
• Participates in the development of the annual Strategic Plan. Translates the impact of strategic initiatives to the long-term financial plan
• Develops discounted cash flow models to support capital investment decisions and ensure value creation
• Provides direct financial support to upper management responsible
• Perform ad hoc analyses as necessary
• Assess the current FP&A processes/tools and implement improvements

Education and/or Experience:

• 3+ years experience of financial planning and analysis experience. Exposure to a leadership development program and/or consulting organization is strongly preferred.
• MBA degree from a nationally recognized institution with outstanding academic credentials is a plus
• Proven ability to build strong business relationships at all levels throughout an organization
• Experience as a strategic thinker and the ability to effectively translate strategies into financial plans
• A self-directed individual able to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and business conditions
• Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced business environment with ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
• Superior analytical skills and intellectual curiosity with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
• Considerable experience with Microsoft Office and other financial software systems
