Job summary

A leading business consulting provider is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Pittsburgh. This role involves supporting financial reporting, month-end, and quarter-end closing processes. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, and 3-5 years of experience, preferably with a background in Big 4 accounting. This position is remote with a pay rate of $45/hr and various benefits including medical and401(k).

Responsibilities

What you will work on

• Month-end and quarter-end close support
  
• Preparation of recurring consolidation journal entries
  
• General financial analysis and quarterly flux analysis
  
• Report and footnote preparation for the 10-K
  
• Tie-outs and audit support, including direct interaction with Vendor.
• Workload will vary, must be able to pivot and manage multiple priorities.
  
  
  
  

What you will bring

• Education: Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting, MBA preferred
• 3–5 years of experience
• Background in Big 4 or
  public accounting preferred
• Technical accounting
  experience is a plus
• Financial reporting and
  SEC filing experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to operate
  with limited oversight and ambiguity
• 10-K / SEC reporting
  experience, particularly with footnote preparation is a nice to have
• Prior year-end close
  exposure nice to have

• Pay Rate: $45/hr - Straight W-2 - No C2C, 1099, or H1-B available.
