Job summary

Augmentis is helping place a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst at a West Michigan manufacturing site with full relocation. The role emphasizes monthly close, forecasting, reporting, and SOX controls, with on‑site responsibilities and relocation support.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in accounting/finance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (Epicor/Oracle/Hyperion).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills; able to synthesize data and make recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/weekly forecasts and variance analysis.
• Manage monthly close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Perform inventory analysis and cost accounting tasks.
• Support SOX compliance and internal control testing.
• Contribute to department budgeting and periodic reporting of key metrics.
• Assist auditors during facility audits and provide documentation.
• Analyze pricing and profitability drivers for products/services.
• Report results to corporate on a monthly cadence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive improvements.
