Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Financial Analyst to support plant-level accounting in LaPorte, IN, with a full relocation package offered. The role includes month-end close, forecasting, and cost analysis, with remote onboarding for 30–60 days during relocation.

You will work in a globally recognized aerospace environment, contributing to cost control and financial planning. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; strong grads welcome with internship.
• Proficient in Excel; Word and Access a plus.
• Sharp analytical skills with data-driven recommendations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Controller in day-to-day general accounting and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review financial reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Analyze manufacturing inventory costs and standard cost variances.
• Assist with product costing, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and cost reduction initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvements and tooling for efficiency.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and asset tracking.
