Augmentis invites applications for a Financial Analyst in LaPorte, IN. The role supports the Plant Controller with accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting, helping develop forecasts and budgets. Full relocation is offered, with remote start for 30–60 days while relocation is arranged.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 1–3 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and clear communication. Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 1–3 years' experience.
• Proficient in Excel; Word and Access a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven recommendations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Clear verbal and written communication; work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support Plant Controller with day-to-day accounting and month-end close.
• Analyze manufacturing inventory costs and variances; assist cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain payroll/fringe tracking, labor standards, and fixed assets/capital plan.
• Assist with product costing, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and monthly finance close packages.
• Conduct process research and build spreadsheets/tools to support work.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and daily reporting backups.
