Job summary

Augmentis is assisting a globally recognized aerospace manufacturer to fill a Financial Analyst role based in Northwest Indiana with a strong relocation package. The position supports the Plant Controller, handles month-end close, and analyzes costing and budgeting processes while enabling a smooth transition for remote onboarding.

The ideal candidate will have a accounting or finance background, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience or strong internship experience.
• Proficiency in Excel; Word/Access a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Analyze inventory costs and cost variances; assist cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain payroll and fringe expense tracking; monitor labor standards.
• Assist with product costing, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close packages.
• Develop tools and spreadsheets to improve processes.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and asset reviews.
