Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Financial Analyst for our Northwest Indiana client located along Lake Michigan. The role supports the plant controller and drives month-end close, financial reporting, and cost analysis. Relocation assistance is provided, with remote onboarding for 30–60 days while logistics finalize.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in accounting/finance, strong Excel skills, and solid communication. The position offers a pathway into a globally recognized aerospace environment with growth

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience; strong grads with internship welcome.
• Proficiency in Excel; Word and Access a plus.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; organized with attention to deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing inventory costs, variances, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain payroll/fringe expense tracking, labor standards, and fixed assets.
• Assist with product costing, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and monthly close packages.
• Research processes and build tools/spreadsheets to support work.
• Participate in physical inventory and asset counts; backup reporting.
