Job summary

Augmentis is recruiting for a Financial Analyst with relocation support to join a global aerospace client in Indiana. You’ll begin remotely for 30–60 days during relocation planning and then join the team on site to support accounting, close, and reporting activities.

The role emphasizes cost accounting, inventory oversight, and budgeting, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative, high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience (open to strong new grads with internship experience).
Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Word and Access is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the Plant Controller with day-to-day general accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
Analyze manufacturing inventory costs, investigate standard cost variances, and assist with cost reduction initiatives.
Maintain payroll and fringe expense tracking, labor standards, and site fixed assets/capital plan.
Assist with product costing, variance analysis, and account reconciliations in General and Cost Accounting functions.
Support monthly finance close, business review packages, and budgeting/forecasting.
Conduct process research and build spreadsheets/tools to support work.
