Job Overview

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis and business case development to support pricing decisions for existing products and new product launches, including generative AI-powered products. This role will work closely with the Finance, Product Marketing, and Product Management teams to provide insights and recommendations to optimize pricing strategies and drive revenue growth.

Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the pricing and usage patterns of our Cloud and AI software products and services across different regions, segments, and customers, identifying opportunities for optimization.
2. Own financial models to evaluate long-term pricing strategies, recommend changes to existing pricing, and support the launch of new products.
3. Understand the cost drivers across the portfolio of products and their implications for our pricing strategies.
4. Collaborate with product marketers, product managers, sales teams, and other finance teams to provide data-driven recommendations and guidance on pricing and usage decisions.
5. Create and present reports and dashboards that communicate pricing and usage performance, trends, and insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the Cloud software industry.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis and visualization tools.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This position is eligible for total compensation, including a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $106,000.

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range is not typical, to allow for future salary growth in this position.
