The Tone:

This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy and transparency across product costing, manufacturing expenses, inventory, and project tracking. What You’ll Actually Do

• Financial Oversight: Drive financial accuracy, transparency, and insight across product costing, manufacturing cost, inventory management, and project tracking.
• Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis, interpret P&L and balance sheet activities, and prepare account reconciliations.
• Close & Controls: Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring robust data integrity and process controls for P&L and inventory processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, R&D, FP&A, and IT to facilitate systems integration and ensure costs are accurately captured.
• Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements for reporting, analysis, and workflow automation to boost efficiency and accuracy.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. This is an early-career position requiring a strong understanding of financial principles.
• Experience: 0-2 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably supporting manufacturing operations, with experience in tracking project cost and variance analysis.
• Skills: Ability to interpret balance sheet and P&L statements, account reconciliations, and bank statements; intermediate Excel proficiency (complex formulas and pivot tables); working knowledge of inventory accounting and manufacturing close processes; experience with ERP systems; exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bonus: Strong preference for experience in SAP-based environments; proven ability to drive process improvements by streamlining financial and operational reporting, enhancing inventory accuracy and close efficiency, automating manual tasks, and reinforcing internal controls.
