Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Financial Analyst II in Holmdel, NJ to drive analytics, forecasting, and strategic financial insights. You will build advanced financial models, create dashboards using Power BI and BST-based systems, and partner with senior leaders to deliver executive-ready analyses and presentations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in financial analysis, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in ERP tools such as BST, Deltek, SAP, and Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a data-driven or tech-enabled environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, CoPilot, and ERP systems (BST, Deltek, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables and deliver results on time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.

• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain advanced financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across P&L, working capital, backlog, and other KPIs.
• Data Analytics & Visualization: Leverage tools like Power BI, Excel, CoPilot, and our ERP system (BST) to create dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to leadership and operational teams.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and synthesize drivers of financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Strategic Support: Partner with the Director of Finance, CFO and senior leaders to prepare executive-level presentations, business reviews, and shareholder materials that explain the “why” behind financial outcomes.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that streamline workflows, enhance data governance, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• M&A & Due Diligence: Support acquisition analysis, integration planning, and ROI scenario development as part of the company’s growth strategy.

• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job‑related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $81,585 to $100,695 per year (depending on qualifications)
