Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our finance team. This role focuses on data analytics, financial modeling, and strategic insight to support decision-making and improve reporting.

The analyst will build models for budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking; develop dashboards with Power BI and BST ERP; and collaborate with senior leaders on executive-level materials and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis in data-driven settings.
• Proficient with Excel, Power BI, CoPilot and ERP systems (BST, Deltek, SAP, Oracle).
• Solid GAAP knowledge and forecasting techniques.
• Strong communication and ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, BST to guide decisions.
• Perform variance analysis to identify drivers of performance.
• Prepare executive presentations and board materials with insights.
• Support process improvements and data governance initiatives.
• Assist M&A analyses, due diligence, and ROI scenarios.
