Job summary

SEACORP is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support the USW Combat Systems Department (Code 25) at NUWC in Newport, RI. You will assist government personnel with task execution, develop and analyze financial reports, and ensure spend plans are detailed and executed using actual and projected data. Proficiency in Navy ERP/EDW and Excel is required.

The role requires 1 year of relevant DoD experience, U.S. Citizenship, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• 1 year of relevant experience working as a Financial Analyst within the DoD sector.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing/populating Funding Document acceptance and modification based on government input.
• Analyzing financial data to identify project and organizational discrepancies and anomalies in task execution.
• Preparing weekly Expenditure Reports.
• Performing fiscal year closeout and startup analyses.
• Assist government personnel with task execution and data calls; develop, maintain, and analyze financial reports.
