Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a Corporate Finance professional to partner with accounting and FP&A leadership in New York. You will turn raw financial data into accurate reporting, support GAAP reporting, and help maintain SOX-aligned controls across the business.

You will build models, support quarterly closes, and contribute to SEC filings while collaborating with teams to improve reporting processes and analytics for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of corporate finance or accounting experience.
• US GAAP, SOX controls, SEC reporting knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Experience supporting internal or external audits; strong workpapers.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain results to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bonus: ASC 606/ASC 842 familiarity or SQL/data modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and monthly/quarterly reporting packages.
• Support quarterly close with reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis.
• Assist with SOX control documentation and remediation of deficiencies.
• Contribute to SEC filings support and related workpapers for 10-Q/10-K.
• Analyze KPIs, unit economics, and budget-vs-actual trends for leadership.
• Collaborate with accounting, FP&A, and business teams to improve reporting processes.
• Support external audits and board reporting with audit-ready documentation.
