EVgo is seeking a Sr. Manager of Accounting to lead multiple accounting teams and oversee the full general ledger close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong control discipline.

You will partner with the Controller and cross-functional teams to drive technical accounting initiatives and continuous improvement across the accounting function. The role demands extensive GAAP expertise, SOX compliance oversight, and a track record of developing managers and teams within a public company

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience in a public company environment with direct Big 4 audit coordination.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 360, ASC 842, and financial close.

Responsabilités

• Lead close for multiple accounting teams and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Provide technical accounting leadership and escalate complex transactions as needed.
• Oversee SOX documentation and liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements and system enhancement initiatives.
