Job summary

Emhance is seeking a Financial Analyst to act as the analytical engine of the finance function. You will build the operating model from the ground up, run forecasts, and translate data into insights for pricing, hiring, and spend decisions in a private-equity-style setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate FP&A, or startup finance.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets - capable of building a three-statement model from scratch.
• Sound financial modeling instincts with clean structure and documented assumptions.
• Comfort with incomplete data and defensible, transparent assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Build the operating model including 3-statement model, 13-week cash forecast, and rolling 12-month forecast.
• Support annual budget process and keep rolling forecast current as actuals land.
• Produce monthly variance analysis with drivers explained, not just numbers.
• Create scenario and sensitivity analyses to frame decisions and stress-test runway.
• Develop KPI and unit-economics reporting for CAC, payback, retention, and gross margin.
• Stand up FP&A infrastructure and ensure data hygiene and trustworthy reporting.
• Run ad hoc analyses for pricing, hiring plans, and vendor decisions.
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting with analysis and schedules.
• Support fundraising and diligence with projections and data room materials.
• Provide financial analysis to other portfolio companies as needed.
• Collaborate with GTM and product teams to translate operating metrics into financial impact.
