Job Title: Finance Analyst

Reports to: Finance Manager

Duration: Through 6/30/2025 (with potential extensions)

Location: Hybrid — Office day every Tuesday and third Thursday of the month (Mason, OH 45040)

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, standard business hours

Bill Rate: $18-$19/hr

Note: Excel AR Report Skills Test required for all interviews.

Overview:

Seeking a Finance Analyst for a long-term contract role with a focus on Accounts Receivable, cash application, collections, and account reconciliations. Candidate should have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and prior experience with ERP systems and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface daily with internal and external clients (via phone, email, etc.) to research, resolve, and escalate issues accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure continuous communication with management and associates to maintain transparency.
• Analyze complex data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and recommend solutions to facilitate cash application of outstanding balances.
• Analyze open receivable trends, including payment frequency and root cause analysis (e.g., denials, over/short payments).
• Manage and prioritize cash application processes for high-risk customers.
• Identify and recommend system or process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain accurate financial records for client accounts and provide reports to Account Managers, clients, brokers, TPAs, and auditors as requested.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address issues for small to large-size high-risk clients.

Basic Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (both oral and written).
• High level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Ability to quickly grasp and retain information and concepts.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize issues effectively.
• Experience in customer service or insurance-related processes.
