Qualifications

• 6 to 8+ years of recent financial reporting experience within asset management, financial services, or public accounting.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, ASC 815, ASC 820, and derivatives.
• Experience supporting annual audits, SEC filings, and investment company reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Consultant for a contract opportunity in Chicago, IL. As a Senior Financial Reporting Consultant, you will support annual and semi-annual reporting cycles for a variety of registered and non-registered funds. You will work closely with internal teams, auditors, and clients to ensure accurate financial statements, timely filings, and high-quality reporting deliverables. Key Responsibilities

• Review staff-prepared fund financial statements, schedules of investments, and related reporting deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $50 to $60 per hour.

• Work arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site, Monday through Wednesday.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Review and oversee fund financial statement preparation and schedules of investments.


• Coordinate annual and semi-annual shareholder reporting deliverables.


• Manage audit, client, fund, and SEC filing deadlines.


• Provide technical guidance on U.S. GAAP, derivatives, and financial reporting requirements.


• 6 to 8+ years of recent financial reporting experience within asset management, financial services, or public accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in accounting.
