Job summary

Life Care Services (LCS) offers a 6-month Financial Analysis internship in Des Moines, IA, running May through December. This full-time program provides hands-on project work, cross-department collaboration, and mentorship, with a presentation to senior leadership at the end.

You will gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and professional development while contributing to meaningful initiatives within our organization and the senior living industry.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related degree program.
• Strong background in MS Excel, and reporting.
• Background in ad-hoc reporting, financial modeling, and analysis preferred.
• Exposure to budgeting and/or forecasting beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in a professional environment.
• Mentorship and exposure to senior leadership.
• Opportunities for networking and career development.
• Meaningful project work that makes an impact.
• Competitive hourly rate: $22.50/hour.

Job description

The Financial Analysis internship is a full-time, 6-month program (40 hours per week) running from May through December. The Co-op Intern will gain hands‑on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.
