Job summary

LCS is seeking a Financial Analysis Intern for a full-time, six-month program in Des Moines, IA. The 40-hour work week runs May through December, concluding with a formal presentation to senior leadership on project outcomes and internship experience.

Interns gain exposure to the organization and its operations while contributing to meaningful finance projects, with mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related degree program.
• Strong background in MS Excel, and reporting.
• Background in ad-hoc reporting, financial modeling, and analysis preferred.
• Exposure to budgeting and or forecasting beneficial.
• Hands-on experience in a professional environment.
• Mentorship and exposure to senior leadership.
• Opportunities for networking and career development.
• Meaningful project work that makes an impact.
• Competitive hourly rate: $22.50/hour

Job description

The Financial Analysis internship is a full-time, 6-month program (40 hours per week) running from May through December. The Co-op Intern will gain hands‑on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.
