The University of Chicago seeks an Associate Director of Financial Aid Technology to oversee the AIS/Oracle Campus Solutions Financial Aid module in production and test environments, ensuring accurate data exchanges and regulatory compliance.

This leadership role partners with campus staff, audits, and DBAs to implement upgrades, develop policies, and guide technical staff in delivering reliable financial aid processing.

Qualifications

• Experience administering student financial aid and coordinating with campus offices.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Campus Solutions issues impacting financial aid processing.
• Experience writing queries and equations in Oracle Campus Solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to master database programs and learn new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Maintain AIS Financial Aid module in production and test environments.
• Track upgrades and fixes for Financial Aid module and oversee testing.
• Review upgrade documentation for database issues.
• Coordinate with other DBAs to ensure data exchange between systems.
• Respond to audit requests on student controls.
• Keep AIS Financial Aid module compliant with federal regulations and university controls.
• Adapt Office of Financial Aid plans to resource and operational needs.
• Provide input on decisions and develop policies based on regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to Financial Aid staff across campus.
• Perform other related work as needed.
