Job summary

Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago seeks a Financial Aid Manager to provide technical and fiscal reporting support within the financial aid office. You will supervise staff handling Direct Loan transmission and oversee loan eligibility and compliance.

The role requires knowledge of FSA software (EdConnect, COD, SAIG, NSLDS) and experience with ERP systems. In-office, full-time position with a background check and standard state benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in office management, customer service, or related fields.
• Two years of higher education or closely related experience.
• One year of supervisory experience in higher education or similar context.

Responsibilities

• Manage Direct Loan data transmissions and supervise staff involved in the process.
• Render accurate student loan eligibility determinations for Federal Direct and private loans.
• Ensure compliance with federal aid regulations and perform monthly reconciliations.
